The Director of Aesthetic Operations must have a demonstrated passion for the field of aesthetics and is the person who coordinates and oversees all the administrative, marketing, cosmetic patient related services and day-to-day needs of the practice. They take direction from the founder & director of the aesthetics practice, and regularly inform him of practice issues, manage and educate the employees and set and track financial goals for the aesthetics center. In addition, they are expected to keep up with changes in the fields of plastic surgery, facial plastic surgery, and aesthetics through networking, educational meetings and industry journals, magazines, and other related educational materials. They will also advise and recommend to the founder & director of the aesthetics practice for his approval, aesthetic center needs and opportunities, cutting-edge technologies, and operational improvements. They will mediate and consult with the founder & director of the aesthetics practice, the parent company practice administrator and the HR department, all employee related issues, including but not limited to hiring, firing, compensation, and discipline. The candidate should be a professional who is highly skilled at managing the complexities of interpersonal team dynamics and the social media/public facing image of a high-profile aesthetic surgery practice.

Verbal Aptitude: Requires the ability to utilize a wide variety of reference, descriptive, advisory and/or design data and information.
Mathematical Aptitude: Requires the ability to perform addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division; ability to calculate decimals and percentages; may include ability to perform mathematical operations with fractions; may include ability to compute discounts, interest, and ratios.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide direction, operation structure, and supervision of all activities at the MFP practice, and its satellite locations.
- Follow strict quality guidelines in accordance with local, state, and federal laws, which is integral to this role.
- Administration of operating and marketing budgets, material control, equipment control, resource distribution, management of the environment of care, consulting with human resources, mediation of personnel conflict, conflict resolution, and the maintenance of care delivery systems.
- Ensure all KPI are met and are in accordance with goals.
- Prepare monthly reports and recaps.
- Prepare and submit biweekly payroll for commissioned employees.
- Participate in monthly manager meetings and provide feedback on any operational opportunities and training needs.
- Evaluate new brands and place orders for new products.
- Update paperwork or documents used in the practice.
- Ensure staff is trained by coordinating educational opportunities with our vendors.
- Create quarterly marketing plans. Manage all marketing initiatives for the practice.
- Consult and follow the sales cycle for each aesthetic physician consultation.
- Manage and train the front office team to ensure practice standards are met.
- Evaluate yearly marketing opportunities and prepare a budget
- Identify, evaluate, analyze, and modify practice business’s SOPs to assure safe and transparent patient-focused operations.
- Organize orientations, staff meetings, safety announcements, policy changes, personnel changes, and general staff guidance.
- Communicate with and provide feedback to their staff, acting as both delegator and liaison when necessary.
- Responsible for bringing the concerns of personnel to the attention of a practice’s senior administration and founder and director.
- Expectation to communicate clearly and with purpose, explaining expectations, desired results, and reasons for resource utilization in the practice setting.
- Hold entire team accountable to the practice’s standards by enforcing established codes of conduct that cannot be misinterpreted.
- Engage in a variety of team and management building activities which typically concern matters of capital expenses, strategic economic planning, and strategic budgeting, as well as inspection and occasional maintenance of the facilities themselves.
- Schedule regular meetings with product and laser vendors ensure all equipment is in good working condition and are serviced
- Order all backbar items for the Aesthetic treatments
- Meet with local charity directors to collaborate community support
- Exhibit development planning skills, utilizing advanced theories of expansion of service parameters based on patient or personnel needs.
- Demonstrated mature decision-making, initiative-taking problem identification, and a thorough understanding of the principles of practice management.
- Act strategically and display a high degree of creativity and resourcefulness.
- Manage E-commerce site and monthly promotions
- Manage social media sites. Analyze “insights”
- Develop branding and creative tools
- Analyze Google Analytics and SEM, SEO campaigns
- Plan, coordinate and execute on-line and in-person events.
- Address and manage patient feedback on social media or via review sites.
